Are the LearnBoost Engineers Magicians?
I would call this somewhat of a “secret” blog post, as it’s not technically approved by the higher ups here at LearnBoost. It’s a fine Friday, however, and in light of some of the buzz that our engineers have received this week, I wanted to share my appreciation for the mind-blowing work that our developers are doing for LearnBoost and for the web 2.0 world with their open-source contributions. In no way is this an attempt to brag about what we’re doing, but as one of the only non-technical (try as I might) people at LearnBoost, I wanted to take some time to thank our engineering heros and share their awesomeness with our users and non-tech followers. On a daily basis I feel honored and rather lucky that I am surrounded by such brilliant technologists, and as someone thoroughly invested in improving education, I’m excited about the great things that these guys are bringing to the space!
Sparking some appreciation
It all started on Wednesday, when Yahoo!’s Director of Standards Development, Eran Hammer-Lahav, published a very kind tribute to the LearnBoost engineering team, “Node.js: Express, Socket.io, and everything LearnBoost.”
